Azerbaijan's beach wrestlers have won seven medals at the fourth stage of the World Series held in Baku.

According to Offsideplus.az, citing the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation, the competition took place at the "Sea Breeze" recreation centre, where Vusal Aliyev (80 kg), Ashraf Ashirov (90 kg), and Jamal Feyziyev (+90 kg) each claimed gold medals.

Sahib Dadashov (80 kg) and Nargiz Samadova (60 kg) were awarded silver medals, while Cavid Niftelizade (80 kg) and Ramiz Hasanov (90 kg) finished the tournament with bronze medals.

The Azerbaijani men's team topped the team standings with 84 points, followed by Georgia with 62 points in second place and Ukraine in third with 45 points. In the women's team standings, Azerbaijan secured second place with 40 points, while Ukraine led with 100 points and Spain came third with 24 points.

It is noteworthy that this competition, held for the first time in our country, featured 55 wrestlers from 14 countries. The final stage of the World Series will take place on September 26-27 in Katerini, Greece, where world champions will be determined based on the points accumulated across all stages.
