"We could have played more neatly in attack."

These were the words of Azer Bağırov, head coach of Shamakhi, during a press conference following the Misli Premier League match between Shamakhi and Gabala, held as part of the league's third round.

The coach shared his thoughts on the match:

"We will work hard to be more precise and organised in attack. I am satisfied with my players. The championship has just started. Matches against closely ranked opponents require more energy because there is a fear of losing. However, when you face teams that are higher up the table, you are mentally prepared and can play more comfortably. Therefore, I understand my players.

It would be better to play in front of our own fans. But my players will become stronger after this situation. We faced Qarabag, Turan Tovuz, and Gabala away. We can gain something from each match. We do have mistakes. We will work to improve on them."

Following this result, Shamakhi sits in 7th place with two points, while Shefa is in 10th place with one point.
