McLaren driver Oscar Piastri has shared his mindset heading into the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, as well as how he and the team are working to improve their performance this season.

Offsideplus.az reports that the Australian driver emphasized that they are mobilizing all their efforts to make progress: "We've thrown everything into making progress and pushing forward. I think the team reacted really well to the situation, trying to fix everything as quickly as possible. I feel great support within the team. This year's cars are very different from what we worked with before — many solutions that used to work are now ineffective. It's not simple here: you can't just find one direction and rely on it every time, you have to keep looking for new solutions."

The McLaren driver also shared his thoughts on the Baku circuit:

"My feelings towards the Azerbaijan Grand Prix track are mixed, so to speak. I've had both my best and worst Formula 1 races on this circuit. But it really is an interesting track — I hope this race goes more according to the scenario of the 2024 edition."
