Azerbaijani judokas have concluded the Grand Slam tournament in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, with a magnificent performance.

According to Offsideplus.az, the national team completed the competition with a total of 7 medals (4 gold, 1 silver, and 2 bronze).

Ahmad Yusifov (60 kg), Omar Rajabli (81 kg), Murad Fatiyev (90 kg), and Kanan Nasibov (+100 kg) defeated all their opponents to climb to the top of the podium. Balabay Aghayev (60 kg) secured a silver medal, while Zelim Kotsoiev (100 kg) and Jamal Gamzatkhanov (+100 kg) earned bronze.

Thanks to this outstanding performance, the Azerbaijani squad took 1st place in the men's team standings. In the overall medal table, our national team finished 2nd, trailing only behind Japan.
