Qarabag FK may qualify directly for the main stage of the Champions League next season.

According to the Football Meets Data, reported by Offsideplus.az, several conditions must be met for this to happen.

First and foremost, the Aghdam side must win the Misli Premier League. They currently trail the leaders, Sabah, by 4 points.

Furthermore, Qarabag needs teams with higher UEFA coefficients to fail to win their respective domestic leagues. Currently, there are 9 such teams, but only two of them are leading their championships: Salzburg and Dinamo Zagreb.

In the Austrian Bundesliga, Salzburg holds a 3-point lead over second-placed LASK after 17 rounds. Meanwhile, Dinamo sits 4 points ahead of Hajduk in the Croatian league.
