The Azerbaijan men's basketball team will play their final match today in the preliminary qualifying round of EuroBasket 2029.

According to Offsideplus.az, the team, led by head coach Tahir Bakhshiyev, will test their skills against the Irish squad in the sixth round.

The match will take place at the Baku Sports Palace, starting at 17:00.

It is worth noting that our team is currently in third place in Group A with 7 points. The group leader, North Macedonia, has 10 points. Luxembourg is in second place with 7 points, while our final opponent, Ireland, is in fourth place with 6 points.
