The Azerbaijan women's national 3x3 basketball team played its debut matches today at the World Cup held in Warsaw, Poland.

Offsideplus.az reports that our national team, competing in Group A, faced Madagascar in the first match of the group stage. The game started at 19:05 Baku time, and our players secured a 21:13 victory.

In the second match of the day, our basketball players faced the Netherlands. This game tipped off at 22:20, with the opponent winning by a score of 19:13.

On June 3, the national team will face the Czech Republic and Poland.

It should be noted that the World Cup in Warsaw will conclude on June 7.
