Absheron Lions defeated Sheki in an away match during Round 16 of the Azerbaijan Basketball League (ABL).

According to Offsideplus.az, head coach Erhan Toker shared his thoughts on the match, which ended with a score of 92-85:

"In this game, we rested our key player, James Frazier. Our other players stepped up and fought well. I would say the same for our opponents as well; most of the game was a neck-and-neck battle.

Today, we also prioritized local players, with two Azerbaijani basketballers on the court at the same time. This can be attributed to our upcoming cup matches. Finally, I congratulate my team on returning from the Sheki trip with a victory and thank the opponents for a great game."
