Offsideplus.az, reports that 20 local fighters will compete for the title of winner in the first league, which is scheduled for October this year.
Athletes will compete in different weights in the range of 57-100 kg, and all fights in the league will earn international ranking points.

Currently, taking into account the quarantine regime in connection with the pandemic, the first league, which will be held in October, will be released to the public in video format without spectators. The location of the fights will not be made public to prevent spectators from coming in secret.

In case of changes to the existing quarantine rules, the competitions will be open to the public.

It should be noted that the IFL organization was founded in 2019 by a professional MMA fighter, two-time European and one-time world champion Heydar Mammadaliyev.
