AFFA has released a report on the club licensing process.

According to Offsideplus.az, AFFA President Rovshan Najaf stated that this process will play a positive role in the development of football and clubs:

“Since the 2004–2005 season, UEFA has implemented the club licensing system as a requirement for participation in its competitions, and this process plays an important role in club operations. The licensing system imposes the same requirements on all clubs participating in UEFA competitions, ensuring equality and impartiality in its application.”

He also emphasized the importance of the licensing process for clubs:

“The proper implementation of the licensing system will have a positive impact on the development of our football.”
