President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree for the U-20 World Cup to be held in Azerbaijan in 2027.

Offsideplus.az reports that Deputy Prime Minister Samir Sharifov has been appointed Chairman of the Organizing Committee.

AFFA has been entrusted with coordinating with FIFA regarding the holding of the World Cup.

It should be noted that the U-20 World Cup will be hosted by Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan in 2027/
