Offsideplus.az reports that the 19-year-old athlete of the national team won this title at the World Cup held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The athlete defeated the representative of Russia, Armenian-born Edmond Khudayan, in the decisive match.

It should be noted that the Azerbaijani national team was represented by 11 boxers at the tournament. Previously, Alfonso Dominguez (92 kg) and Mahammad Abdullayev (+92 kg) finished the world championship with bronze medals.
