The Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation organized a special festival in Lankaran aimed at promoting and developing wrestling, encouraging a healthy lifestyle, and increasing interest in sports among children and youth.

Offsideplus.az reports that the event was attended by federation secretary general Parvin Piriyev, vice-president Namig Abdullayev, national Greco-Roman wrestling team coach Rovshan Bayramov, world and European champion Rasul Chunayev, and U15 national team coaches Taleh Mammadov and Aliabbas Rzazade, alongside other officials.

As part of the festival, masterclasses were held for young local wrestlers, where renowned athletes and coaches shared their experiences and demonstrated various techniques on the mat. The event also featured an entertainment program, allowing local residents and young athletes to meet the famous wrestlers, get autographs, and take photos.

The federation plans to organize similar promotional sports festivals in other regions of the country in the future.
