AFFA has held a video conference with clubs regarding the improvement of game formats in youth football.

According to Offsideplus.az, the discussions included the association's Secretary General Cahangir Farajullayev, Technical Director Edmond Klaus, Deputy Secretary General Elchin Mammadov, Head of the Football Development Department Serkhan Huseynov, and academy directors.

The importance of a phased format transition suitable for age groups was emphasised during the meeting, and the clubs' proposals were heard. A final decision regarding the format change will be announced before the new season, taking into account the opinions of the academies.
