Azerbaijan's U-23 freestyle wrestling team has commenced a training camp today for general and specific preparation.

According to Offsideplus.az, citing the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation, the team has started its preparations at the AGF training base.

The training process, which will last until September 19, is being led by coaches Taymuraz Kokoyev and Arif Abdullayev.

The camp includes wrestlers Muhammed Ismayilov, Huseyn Rzazade, Ibrahim Hasanov (all 57 kg), Ceyhun Allahverdiyev (61 kg), Musa Agayev, Huseyn Huseynov, Ayxan Abdullazade (all 65 kg), Ramik Heybatov, Haji Kerimov (both 70 kg), Aganazar Novruzov, Nihad Abbasov (both 74 kg), Elcan Ismayilzade, Elkhan Garayev (both 79 kg), Sabuhi Amirslanov (86 kg), Tabriz Bayramov, Anar Jafarli (both 92 kg), Said Pashayev, Zafar Aliyev (both 97 kg), Khetag Karsanov, Muxamad Qantemirov, and Yusif Dursunov (all 125 kg).

It is noteworthy that this training camp is aimed at preparing for the U-23 World Championship, which will take place in Las Vegas, USA, from October 12 to 18.
