The opening day of the traditional "Victory Cup" for U-17 wrestlers in Antalya, Turkey, has been successful for our national team.

According to Offsideplus.az, Azerbaijani wrestlers secured a total of four medals on the debut day of the tournament.

In the freestyle wrestling competition, Ibrahim Hasanov (51 kg) defeated all his opponents to claim the gold medal.

Our Greco-Roman wrestling team completed the day with a full set of medals. Ali Mammadov (71 kg) emerged as the champion, while in the 51 kg weight category, Huseyn Mustafazade took home the silver and Ilkin Gurbanov earned the bronze.
