A meeting has been held between representatives of teams participating in the women's leagues for the 2026/2027 season and the Women's Football Department of AFFA.

According to Offsideplus.az, the event took place at AFFA's administrative building and was attended by the head of the Women's Football Department, Zumrud Agayeva, technical director Emrah Aykurt, head coach of the women's national team Siyaset Asgarov, head coach of the U-17 girls' national team Khanlar Aliyev, and head coach of the U-15 girls' national team Rovshan Gasimov.

During the meeting, discussions were held regarding the outcomes of the previous season, and proposals noted in an earlier electronic survey conducted among the teams were reviewed. The format of the women's leagues to be held under the auspices of AFFA in the 2026/2027 season, as well as planned changes for the organisation and conduct of competitions in future seasons, were also discussed.

To ensure more effective discussions, representatives of the clubs and coordinators for the leagues were also invited.
