The fourth stage of the World Series in beach wrestling, held for the first time in Baku, has commenced.

According to Offsideplus.az, the first day of the competition at "Sea Breeze" featured qualification and group stage matches, along with an official opening ceremony.

In the men's competition, six of our representatives have qualified for the semi-finals. Vusal Aliyev will face Cavid Niftelizade in the 80 kg category, while Sahib Dadashov will go up against Diego Makaradze from Georgia. In the 90 kg category, Ramiz Hasanov will compete against Evsem Shvelidze (Georgia), and Ashraf Ashirov will battle Iuza Tsertsvadze (Georgia) for a place in the final. In the heavyweight category, Cavid Feyziyev (+90 kg) will meet Tedore Ebanoidze (Georgia).

In the women's category, Nargiz Samadova (60 kg) will play her final match against Noqona Bakayoko from Ivory Coast.

It is worth noting that the competition will start today at 16:00.
