Memorandum of Understanding Signed Between AWF, ATUSO, and "Arkoz Gazakh Cement Plant" LLC

Offsideplus.az, citing the press service of the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation (AWF), reports that a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed today between the AWF, the Association of Trade Union Sports Organizations (ATUSO), and "Arkoz Gazakh Cement Plant" LLC.

The signing ceremony took place in the Gazakh district, which has been selected as the Sports Capital for 2026. The tripartite cooperation agreement was signed by Parvin Piriyev, Secretary General of the AWF; Fikrat Hajiyev, Acting Director of ATUSO; and Murat Çağlayan, Director of "Arkoz Gazakh Cement Plant" LLC.

Under the agreement, the wrestling hall of the Gazakh City Stadium will undergo a major renovation and be reopened as a regional wrestling center.

The Memorandum also outlines the following key initiatives:

Infrastructure Development: Supporting initiatives aimed at enhancing sports infrastructure in the region.

Joint Events: Organizing sports competitions, tournaments, and social projects.

Community Engagement: Involving plant employees, trade union members, and their families in sports activities to promote a healthy lifestyle.

CSR Initiatives: Developing joint projects within the framework of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to encourage youth and adolescents to participate in sports.

Promotion & Support: Providing mutual support in information and promotional activities, along with executing other joint projects to strengthen ties between the parties.
