The referees for both fixtures in which Qarabag will face Bulgaria's CSKA Sofia in the UEFA Europa League second qualifying round have been announced.
According to Offsideplus.az, the first leg in Baku will be officiated by an Italian refereeing team. The main referee will be assisted by compatriots Giovanni Baccini and Alessandro Lo Cicero. Daniele Perenzoni will serve as the fourth official. In the VAR room, Valerio Marini will be present, with Federico La Penna acting as the AVAR.
The return leg in Sofia has been assigned to a Belgian team. The main referee for this match will be FIFA official Bram Van Driessche. The assistant referees will be Michel Seldreyers and Iv De Neve. Kevin Van Damme will be the fourth official, while Bert Put will oversee VAR and Wesley De Kremer will act as AVAR.
It is worth noting that the first match between Qarabag and CSKA is scheduled for July 23 in Baku, with the return fixture taking place on July 30 away.
