The Azerbaijani freestyle wrestling team has left for the Turkish city of Kastamonu for a training camp.

Offsideplus.az reports that our national team will prepare for the World Championship to be held in Croatia in September.

The federation's press service reported this.

The training camp will last until August 20.

Under the leadership of head coach Khetag Gazyumov, senior coach Jabrayil Hasanov, coaches Taymuraz Kokoyev and Sharif Sharifov, Islam Bazarganov, Muhammedali Alizadeh (both 57 kg), Nuraddin Novruzov, Jeyhun Allahverdiyev (both 61 kg), Ali Rahimzadeh, Ruslan Abdullayev, Murad Hagverdiyev (all 65 kg), Kenan Heybatov, Sabir Jafarov (both 70 kg), Turan Bayramov, Magomed-Bashir Khaniyev (both 74 kg), Farid Jabbarov, Jabrayil Hajiyev (both 79 kg), Arseniy Dzhioyev, Ali Tsokayev (both 86 kg), Osman Nurmagomedov (92 kg), Magomedkhan Magomedov, Zafar Aliyev (both 97 kg), Khetag Karsanov and Giorgi Meshvildishvili (125 kg) took part in the training.

It should be noted that our Greco-Roman wrestling team is currently training in Turkey.
