The Azerbaijani national minifootball team played one of its historic games today at the European Championship held in Slovakia.

Offsideplus.az reports that our team, coached by Elshad Guliyev, faced Serbia in the semi-finals of the tournament. The main time of this tense match held at the "Tipos Arena" ended with a score of 1:1. Our national team, which won in the penalty shootout, entered the final with its name.

The final match will be against the Ukrainian team on May 4.

It should be noted that our national team, which made a confident impression in the tournament, advanced to the playoffs by defeating Austria (1:0), Italy (3:0) and France (3:2) in Group F. Our team managed to eliminate Kazakhstan (3:2) in the 1/8 finals, and the Czech Republic (5:2), one of the ambitious countries of minifootball, from the tournament.
