A large part of the football community is unhappy with the meetings held behind closed doors today. In those secret meetings of AFFA, issues that will change the fate of the country's football are discussed. Decisions will be made today and tomorrow. One of them is the cancellation of the legionary limit, which football fans have been shouting about for days.

It is criticized that the meetings are held in secret. However, the issue under discussion has been obvious for years. We also saw Azerbaijanis who crushed the legionnaires with their skills, did not appreciate the chances given to them in the spring of their career, and our own ones who made it difficult for them both in the national team and in the club. Desire is required. We all know the theory of evolution. It is true that an Azerbaijani cannot be as fast as an African. Or having a technique like a Brazilian is 1 in a million. But it is not impossible. If there is a local player who breathes football, then there are also players who give their lives on the field. An Azerbaijani who is better than a legionnaire cannot be found among 10 million, where can he be found?!

I think: the legionary limit has been canceled and now many local players who play in the PL are left without a club. Instead of being sad about the situation of our compatriots, I try to be rational: the most logical reason for a football player to lose his place in the club is that he cannot keep up with the player in his position. Isn't this the simplest rule of football? In all leagues, the player who is in the best shape for his position will be in the starting lineup. I don't believe that in the future some Premier League club will deliberately remove a local football player or put him on the bench and give a chance to a weaker legionnaire. They stone the man. That head coach should write the testament letter on the day he made that decision.

This is my word, a self-confident Azerbaijani football player should not be afraid of what will happen to me. Go out and play, prove yourself. The preceding sentence applies whether or not the Legionnaires limit has been waived. Simply, the cancellation of the legionary limit will wake up many of our players from their sweet sleep.
