The Gymnasiade Sports Games officially begin today in Serbia.

As reported by Offsideplus.az, Azerbaijani athletes will also take part in the opening day of competition. They will be competing in six disciplines: fencing, wrestling, chess, badminton, tennis, and artistic gymnastics.

The tournament, running from April 6 to 12, brings together 2,742 athletes from 56 countries. Azerbaijan is represented by a delegation of 191 athletes competing across 18 different sports.

This prestigious event marks an important stage for young athletes to showcase their talent on an international platform.
