Three more Greco-Roman wrestlers from Azerbaijan will begin their competition today at the World Championship taking place in Astana, Kazakhstan.

According to Offsideplus.az, Nihat Mammadli (63 kg), Hesret Jafarov (67 kg), and Islam Abbasov (87 kg) will step onto the mat.

Mammadli will face American representative Xavier Johnson in his opening match, while Abbasov will go up against Turkish wrestler Ali Cengiz. Jafarov, on the other hand, has a bye in the first round.

Additionally, Murad Ahmadiev (97 kg) will test his strength in a consolation match against Austrian Markus Raqinqerl.

It is worth noting that two of our Greco-Roman wrestlers, Eldeniz Azizli (55 kg) and Senan Suleymanov (77 kg), won gold medals yesterday.
