In the ninth round of the Misli Premier League, Sabah drew 0-0 with Qarabag at home.

After the match, Sabah's head coach Valdas Dambrauskas addressed journalists at a press conference, sharing his thoughts on the game:

"Both teams were quality sides and gave their all on the pitch. It was a competitive match. We were on the attack for a long time, even pushing the opponent back into their own half more in the first half. Although no goals were scored, the fans created an excellent atmosphere; it was no different from European football. The final draw can be considered a fair result."

The Lithuanian coach also touched on the new stadium conditions, stating that the pitch is among the best in the country and that they have saved a lot of time compared to Masazir.

Explaining the decision to keep Rahman Dashdamirov on the bench, the head coach emphasised that they have over 50 matches ahead and took this step to keep some players fresh. Dambrauskas added that he would only take pride in any transfer offers that come for his players from top clubs.

Discussing the different tactical systems of the opponents, the Lithuanian coach thanked his players for executing their tasks accurately in the tight schedule. He noted that this season's title race will be tougher:

"There are still nine rounds left, so it's early to talk. Only a victory can satisfy me, but I wasn't disappointed today. We want to play in the Champions League, and this year's title race will be tougher. We are learning a lot from matches against Qarabag, but playing against Kəpəz in Ganja is also not easy."
