"Qarabag" has renewed the lighting system of the football field of the "Sarhadchi" Sports Center.

Offsideplus.az reports that the Aghdam club has completely replaced the traditional halogen-based projector lamps of the field used by the academy on a long-term lease with LED technology.

With this change, the club has achieved both savings and reduced environmental damage by promoting the use of green energy.

While in the previous system, each projector consumed an average of 1000 watts of energy, LED lamps have reduced this figure to around 300-400 watts. This means an energy saving of approximately 60% during each use.

The mentioned step will allow preventing about 2 tons of CO₂ emissions per year (taking into account an average of 0.283 kg of CO₂ per 1 kWh of energy).
