Qarabag head coach Gurban Gurbanov shared his thoughts at the post-match press conference following his team's 1-0 defeat to Dynamo Kyiv in the first leg of the UEFA Conference League third qualifying round.

Offsideplus.az reports Gurbanov's comments:

"There isn't much to say. I congratulate our opponents. We must now prepare for the second leg. We faced a side that defends well and breaks fast on the counter. We needed to step up our pace and dynamics a bit. The heat also played a factor and made things difficult for us. We have 5–6 days ahead. Once we return to Baku, we will analyze the match thoroughly and prepare for the return leg."

When asked about the foreigner quota, the experienced manager stated:

"It takes time to see whether the foreign player limit will prove effective."

Gurbanov also noted that the team performed better in defense than in attack:

"We conceded due to a small technical mistake, but our defensive play wasn't bad at all. We simply lacked aggressiveness and activity in the attacking line."

The second leg will take place in one week, on August 13.
