"Qarabag's head coach Qurban Qurbanov participated in a press conference following their 1-0 victory over Shefa in the Azerbaijan Premier League.

According to Offsideplus.az, the experienced coach commented on the win, discussing the team's performance and future plans:

"I congratulate my players. We are going into a long break. I would like the team to be united. We earned three important points in this match. It was noticeable that some players were thinking about rest. Shefa has formed a good team. They have a new squad. There were similar teams on the pitch."

Continuing his remarks on the opponent's defence, the head coach added:

"We played against a well-defended team. We could have played better. It is our duty to perform better. We believe that the number of our attacks will increase."

Regarding transfer matters, Qurbanov pointed to the winter window:

"We cannot make transfers. If there is an opportunity in winter, we want to sign players who meet our needs in the positions we are considering."

The coach also addressed the injuries within the team and the players called up to the national team, providing clarity on Bahlul's situation:

"He will be able to join the team in 10 days. The operation was not serious, but it was interesting. Such injuries occur in rare players. He could have recovered sooner, but unfortunately, it was an unwanted scenario. Both Elvin and Bahlul, who have been called up to the national team, are injured. Nariman and Toral have left the team. This number may increase in the future. It is a normal progression. It is a normal situation. If there are promising local players, we will involve them in the first team."

In response to a question about the number of fans in the stadiums, Qurbanov stated that he has no special appeal to the fans:

"I have no special appeal to the fans. Their numbers are high. I would like all teams to come to the stadiums. I have no words for our fans; we care for each other a lot."
