"We prepared for this match in the same way as we did for the other matches," said Zaur Hashimov, head coach of Shefa, during a press conference.

The specialist shared his thoughts on the match against Sumgait in the 10th round of the Misli Premier League, which ended in a 1-1 draw: "First of all, I want to note that we have achieved our next victory after several defeats. On the other hand, despite creating so many goal opportunities in Sumgait, we are disappointed to have let the victory slip away after conceding a goal in a match where we were ahead on the scoreboard.

I was satisfied with our performances in the last two rounds. Even in the matches we lost, we did not shy away from fighting. We demonstrated this against both Shamakhi and Kəpəz. I believe that as Shefa, we will achieve the goals we have set for ourselves."

It is worth noting that the match, held at the SOCAR Polymer Arena, saw Musa Quel open the scoring in the 31st minute. Ronaldo Vaskes equalised for Sumgait in the 71st minute.
