A traditional "Victory Run" was held in Baku under the slogan "Proudly Forward" to commemorate the 6th anniversary of Victory.

According to Offsideplus.az, the charity race, organised by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Baku City Circuit Operations Company, attracted over 2,000 participants, marking a record since 2021.

Participants covered a distance of 10 kilometres along the Baku Boulevard. The children of martyrs from the Patriotic War welcomed the athletes at the finish line and presented them with medals.

Bakhtiyar Asgerli took first place among men, while Anna Yusupova was the top female finisher. The awards were presented to the winners by the Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov and the President of the Azerbaijan Athletics Federation Javid Gurbanov.

It is worth noting that all funds raised from registrations will be donated to the "YASHAT" Foundation. A concert programme held after the race featured performances by People's Artist Roya and singers Murad Arif and Mardan.
