"The game did not start well for us."

These were the words of Rashad Sadygov, head coach of Zirə, as reported by Offsideplus.az.

The specialist shared his thoughts on the match against Araz-Nakhchivan, which ended in a 2-2 draw during the 10th round of the Misli Premier League:

"At the beginning of the match, we made numerous ball losses. The opponent capitalised on a mistake in our defence and scored. After that, we took control of the game and created several dangerous attacks before the break. Unfortunately, we couldn't convert those chances into goals.

We also started the second half well, but at that moment, we conceded the second goal. After that, it became even more difficult to change the score. Nevertheless, our players, who had played for 120 minutes just three days earlier, showed great character.

We wanted to win, but we must also consider the strength of the opponent. They have experienced players and have been performing confidently in recent matches. I thank my players. In this situation, a point is also important for us."
