The Football Fitness C Certification Programme has commenced at the Education and Rehabilitation Centre, organised by the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA).

According to Offsideplus.az, the opening ceremony was attended by the organisation's Deputy Secretary General Elchin Mammadov and the head of the Education Programme Aslan Karimov.

The sessions will be conducted by the association's fitness specialist Turcay Ahmadov.

The main aim of the course is to provide fitness coaches with foundational knowledge on the physical preparation of football players and to prepare them for the UEFA Fitness B education level. The sessions will continue intermittently until November.
