The fourth round of the 46th World Chess Olympiad, held in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, has concluded.
According to Offsideplus.az, the men's team faced the Czech Republic in a tense match that ended in a 2-2 draw.
Meanwhile, the women's team took on England, securing a victory with a score of 2.5 to 1.5. The decisive point for our team was earned by Goykhar Beydullayeva, while the other players finished their games in draws.
It is worth noting that in the first three rounds, the men's team triumphed over Morocco (4-0), the Philippines (3-1), and Switzerland (3-1), while the women's team achieved victories against Guatemala (4-0), Denmark (4-0), and Switzerland (2.5-1.5).
The World Chess Olympiad, organised under the Swiss system, consists of 11 rounds and will conclude on September 27.
