Officials from the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA) held a meeting with the leaders and financial managers of clubs participating in the Azerbaijan Premier League.

During the meeting, the preparation process for the 2026/2027 season was discussed, along with issues related to the use of grant funds allocated to the clubs. AFFA representatives highlighted the rules for the use of financial resources allocated for the development of youth and junior football under the grant agreement for the new season, as well as the directions for expenditure and requirements for financial accountability that club representatives should adhere to.

Additionally, there was an exchange of ideas on the more efficient and targeted use of grant funds, and the proposals and feedback from club representatives were listened to.
