The Azerbaijan national minifootball team will play its quarterfinal match tonight at the European Championship held in Slovakia.

Offsideplus.az reports that the team, coached by Elshad Guliyev, will face Czechia for a spot in the semifinals. The match, to be held at Tipos Arena, will kick off at 00:00 Baku time. The winner of this tie will meet the winner of the Romania - Serbia match in the semifinals.

In the other quarterfinal matches, Hungary will face Bulgaria, and Georgia will take on Ukraine.

It is worth noting that the Azerbaijan national team defeated Kazakhstan 3-2 in the round of 16. Our team also won all its matches in Group F: Austria (1-0), Italy (3-0), and France (3-2).
