Offsideplus.az reports that he successfully converted a penalty in the Matchday 24 fixture against Zira-2. Abbas Huseynov, who was also sent to the reserve squad alongside him, managed to find the back of the net in this encounter as well.

The match ended in a dominant 5-1 victory for Qarabag-2.

It should be noted that both players were excluded from the first team and demoted to the reserves by head coach Gurban Gurbanov due to a breach of disciplinary rules.
