"Wrestling and competing in Azerbaijan is a wonderful feeling," said Sura Mirac Abbassoy, a Finnish wrestler of Azerbaijani descent, in an interview with Offsideplus.az.

Competing in the 61 kg weight category, the athlete reflected on his performance at the U-17 World Championship held in Baku:

"I would love to compete under the Azerbaijani flag. Unfortunately, this is not possible at the moment due to issues with my documents. I was born in Finland, I live and train there. The attitude towards me is good, but the interest in sports in Finland is not as strong as it is in Azerbaijan."

It is worth noting that Sura Mirac Abbassoy had a successful start in the competition but was eliminated in the quarter-finals.
