The Azerbaijan national team for Greco-Roman wrestling is set to commence its next training camp.

According to Offsideplus.az, the preparation process, which will last until the 22nd of the month, has called up the following wrestlers: Eldeniz Azizli, Farid Sadikhli, Emin Javadli (all in the 55 kg category), Elmir Aliyev, Nihad Quluzade (both in the 60 kg category), Nihat Mammadli, Ilkin Gurbanov, Tural Ahmadov, Ayxan Javadov (all in the 63 kg category), Hesret Jafarov, Farid Khalilov, Mohammad Shukurzad (all in the 67 kg category), Ulvi Qanizade (72 kg), Senan Suleymanov, Ruslan Nurullayev, Davud Mammadov, Cavidan Nehmetov (all in the 77 kg category), Gurban Gurbanov, Elmin Aliyev (both in the 82 kg category), Islam Abbasov, Orkhan Hajiyev (both in the 87 kg category), Emil Abasov, Murad Ahmadaliyev (both in the 97 kg category), Beka Kandelaki, Serkhan Mammadov, and Mezaim Mardanov (all in the 130 kg category).

The camp serves as preparation for the U-23 World Championship, which will take place in Las Vegas, USA, from October 12-18, and the senior World Championship, scheduled to be held in Astana, Kazakhstan, from October 24 to November 1.
