Azerbaijani judoka Rashid Mammadaliyev competed on the second day of the Grand Slam tournament held in Budapest.

According to Offsideplus.az, competing in the 73 kg weight category, Mammadaliyev secured a gold medal by defeating Narek Vardanyan, representing Sweden, in the final.

This marks Mammadaliyev's first gold medal at Grand Slam events in his career.
