Kapaz FC has issued a statement regarding their player Veysal Rzayev, who was stabbed earlier this morning.

According to Offsideplus.az, the injured footballer is currently receiving treatment at Ganja City Hospital No. 3.

He has undergone surgery and is reported to be in stable condition.

It should be noted that he sustained a knife wound while trying to break up a physical altercation between two individuals.
