A member of the Azerbaijan women’s national team, Nigar Mirzaliyeva, has once again stood out in Russia.

According to Offsideplus.az, she has been named in the Team of the Week for Round 26 of the Russian Championship.

The 23-year-old defender, who plays for Zenit, earned this recognition after the match against CSKA Moscow.

Mirzaliyeva started the game and was substituted in the 70th minute.

This is the fourth time she has achieved this honor in the current season.

Her team, Zenit, finished the 2025/26 season in third place with 52 points.
