The memorandum was signed by AFFA Executive Vice President Elkhan Mammadov and GDF Board Chairman Rahman Hajiyev.
According to the Memorandum of Understanding, AFFA will donate 10 (ten) percent of the proceeds from the sale of tickets for all home games of the Azerbaijani national team in the qualifying round of the World Cup in Qatar in 2022 to QDF.
In addition, AFFA will pay special attention to the promotion of the culture of charity among the public during the games of the Azerbaijani national team.
In accordance with the terms of the memorandum, QDF's initiatives will be supported in other professional and amateur football tournaments held with the support of AFFA. The Karabakh Revival Foundation, in turn, will mark AFFA as a partner during its events.
AFFA Executive Vice President Elkhan Mammadov said the signing of the Memorandum was a very important and proud event for the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan and expressed confidence that this cooperation would be successful for both sides. He stressed the importance of supporting the work done to restore and build the liberated territories.
Rahman Hajiyev, Chairman of the Board of the Karabakh Revival Foundation, praised the initiative and thanked AFFA for becoming a participant in this important mission.
"Together we will rebuild Karabakh faster and better," he said, calling on all our compatriots to show solidarity for this purpose. He said that now is the time to restore the lands we liberated as a result of the leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev and the heroism of our Victory Army with the participation of our society.
