The opponents of the Azerbaijani women's national football team in the qualifying round of the 2027 World Cup have been determined.

Offsideplus.az reports that according to the results of the draw held in Nyon, Switzerland, the team headed by Siyasat Asgarov will compete in League C.

The team, which was placed in the second pot during the draw, was a rival in Group III against the teams of Hungary, North Macedonia and Andorra.

It should be noted that the qualifying round of the 2027 World Cup will start in February 2026.
