Our football team will be the guest of the French national team tomorrow as part of the World Cup qualifiers.

Offsideplus.az reports that Kylian Mbappe and head coach Didier Deschamps of the French national team have stated that they need to prepare seriously against the Azerbaijani national team.

The captain of the French national team has stated that he will play in the match against Azerbaijan despite a slight pain in his right ankle: “I think it will not be a serious problem,” Mbappe said.

The star football player received his injury last week in the match against “Real Madrid”, but after the intervention of doctors, he said that his condition is not serious.

Mbappé also noted that the head coach wants him to play: “The coach (Didier Deschamps) wants me to play. I don’t think it will be a serious problem.”

Didier Deschamps explained the injury as follows: “It is not at a level that will hinder his game. It is more related to the feeling in his ankle.”

Deschamps also warned about Azerbaijan and warned his players not to underestimate their opponents before the match against Azerbaijan:
“They are not one of the strongest teams in Europe, but they drew with Ukraine. Seven of their players play for Qarabag, a team that has won its first two games in the Champions League.”

France's situation:
They are currently top of the group with two wins from their first two games. The team will play Azerbaijan on Friday at PSG's Parc des Princes stadium and then in Iceland three days later.
