The Azerbaijan women’s national volleyball team will continue their preparations for the European Championship in Greece.

Offsideplus.az reports, citing the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation, that the team departed for Athens today.

During the training camp, which will run from July 27 to August 1, the national team is also scheduled to play friendly matches.

It should be noted that the Azerbaijani side, led by head coach Faig Garayev, will compete in Group C of the European Championship alongside Portugal, the Netherlands, Belgium, Romania, and Spain. The group stage matches will take place at the National Gymnastics Arena from August 21 to 28.
