The GLORY kickboxing organization has officially announced a light heavyweight title fight.

According to Offsideplus.az, Azerbaijani representative Bahram Rajabzadeh will face Donavan Wisse for the belt at the GLORY 107 tournament, which will be held in Rotterdam on April 25.

According to the organization's statement, current champion Tarik Khbabez has been stripped of his title. Although Khbabez previously confirmed he would defend his title on April 25, he refused the rematch against Bahram Rajabzadeh.

GLORY management stated that the organization determines the matchups, and because the champion refused to face the top contender, the title was taken away.

It should be noted that the first encounter between Rajabzadeh and Khbabez was evaluated as the "Fight of the Year" and resulted in a decision with a minimal margin. Since that fight, fans have been demanding a rematch.

Now, Bahram Rajabzadeh and Donavan Wisse will face off for the vacant light heavyweight world championship belt. The tournament will take place at Rotterdam’s RTM Stage arena.
