The first signing for Qarabag in the summer transfer window has been confirmed.

According to Offsideplus.az, French winger Jaly Mouaddib, who currently plays for the Cypriot club Omonia Aradippou, will be suiting up for the Agdam side starting next season.

Giorgos Irakleous, the general manager of the Nicosia-based club, officially confirmed the move, stating that a full agreement has been reached between the 25-year-old player and the Azerbaijani champions. According to the manager, Mouaddib received the offer from Qarabag months ago but demonstrated his loyalty by promising to stay and help Omonia remain in the league until the very end.

The winger, who recorded 4 goals and 7 assists in 31 appearances for the Cypriot club this season, will join his new team as a free agent since his contract expires this summer. Irakleous also noted that despite some minor financial clauses in the contract, the club will not stand in the way of the player's move.
