The AFFA Disciplinary Committee has issued a series of firm decisions regarding local clubs following their recent matches.
According to Offsideplus.az, Qarabag faces financial sanctions for incidents in both the Azerbaijan Cup and the national championship. During the Azerbaijan Cup 1/4 final second-leg match against Shamakhi, an unauthorized person entered the pitch in the 89th minute, resulting in a 2,500 AZN fine for the club. Furthermore, due to five players receiving yellow cards in the championship match against Sabah and the fact that fans engaged in mass offensive chanting (the 4th such occurrence this season), the club has been fined an additional 8,700 AZN.
