The new season in the Misli Premier League started today.

Offsideplus.az reports that in the opening match, "Karvan-Yevlax" hosted "Gabala". Both teams have been promoted to the Premier League this season.

The match was held in Shamakhi due to reconstruction work at the Yevlakh city stadium.

The first goal of the season was scored by "Gabala" player Domi Massumo. The score was tied in the 79th minute. "Reds and Blacks" defender Murad Musayev missed the goal.

There were no other goals in the match - 1:1.
